By the way, your comment about all the wires begging to be messed with in the alley I posted made me laugh. I agree, especially with the characters who walk down that alley, it's a wonder they have electricty down there!
You are right, of course, and that reminds me, last night, laying there, hearing distant explosions and watching until the night sky lit up, and then waiting on the sound of the fireworks, was like laying on the beach somewhere in the Pacific and seeing the moon and stars and wondering who was looking at this scene besides me. I am always fascinated by who sees what I see and what they see that I miss.
Thanks for the visit.
I have enjoyed your photography as much as I enjoy my own. Sometimes I like to look at the things I photographed in 1953 when I bought my first camera. It is amazing that what I like has not changed much in all that time. The cameras have and for that I am eternally grateful.

Makes me want to cycle down that very road. Very nice, John, especially the simplicity, the space.
That's a beautiful scene.
That's quite an unusual shot compositionally but it really works.
Step by step I am falling in love with the analog photography.

Nice shot John. I like the perspective and the feel of the image.
Nice composition!
This same shot in colour would have been boring, but in monochrome it is a study in composition and simplicity! NICE!
